One of the most notable features of the Date, besides the use of a date display on the dial, is the smaller case diameter, which measures 34mm. Just 2mm shy of its cousin the Datejust, the 34mm case offers a slightly more modest presence on the wrist and will appeal to collectors with smaller to average-sized wrists. As an older secondhand Rolex, the case also wears on a rivet-style Oyster bracelet which is characterized by visible rivets along the outside of the folded links. Other features that are showcased on this vintage Rolex are a thicker acrylic crystal, a dial accented with Tritium luminous material, and a manual winding movement.
